After its premiere in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016 and with a monthly publication periodicity, the series of Naruto Uzumaki's son was gaining in popularity thanks to the work of Ukyo Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto, who in 2019 became part of the magazine V Jump, of the same publisher. Consequently, so is the anime although that doesn't stop there from being quite a bit of filler. It should be said that as of November 2020, author Masashi Kishimoto has taken the helm of the Boruto manga, so in case anyone had any doubts: the Boruto manga is completely canon.

(2003) - Watch after chapter 19 of Naruto.Said OVA is canon, you can''t miss it and we still can't explain how it was not part of the series, even if it was in Boruto and through a flashback. There is no rush for the OVA and the good thing about them is that only the penultimate one in the following list is necessary (very important, but be careful with its title, it is a spoiler!). Do not take this order as "I must see it after this chapter", but rather as "from here I can see it". Not only are they more difficult to find, but they are also quite difficult to place because of how little they have to do with the plot (yes, they are pure filler).
